Funded through the Shippensburg University Foundation, this university-wide program provides a different, multifaceted learning experience demanding intellectual curiosity and and independent thinking.
It supports laboratory research, field activities, art projects, written works and computer applications.
Participation in undergraduate research assists SU students in their application to prestigious medical schools, research institutions and graduate programs. It allows faculty to share their passion and mentor students. Benefits of undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activities include inter-discipline collaboration and increased skills in writing, problem solving,and communication.
