Over the Fall/Winter 2025 semester, senior business management major with a concentration in international business, Cameron Bowser, studied abroad at the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. Bowser’s time abroad was facilitated in part by WorldStrides, a program that helps students gain international academic opportunities. During his time in Bilbao, he gained a deep appreciation for different ways of life.![]()
“It was amazing to experience a culture and way of life that’s different from where I grew up. I found it to be an incredibly enriching experience,” said Bowser. The knowledge he gained within the classroom, exploring the streets, the food markets, the conversations he had with locals, and the breathtaking scenery made for an immersive and gratifying experience.![]()

Shippensburg University is pleased to announce the launch of Student-Made Shippensburg, an online platform designed to market and sell student-created products. This new platform is made possible through a partnership with the Student-Made Store, as well as grant from the PA Creative Industries, powered by the PA Council on the Arts, and support of the Shippensburg University Foundation.![]()
This is a unique opportunity for students to gain real-world business and leadership experience and share their own unique brands on a larger scale. Student creators can sell items including, but not limited to handmade art prints, jewelry, candles, costumes, clothing, bags, glass art, stickers, and more! The platform incorporates support systems for everything needed to run a business like marketing, shipping, events, partnerships, content, collaborations, promotion, finances and strategy.![]()
